Politique d’annulation et de remboursement
Raiatea Location – Raiatea, French Polynesia
1. Scope
This cancellation and refund policy applies to all services offered by Raiatea Location, including but not limited to:
- vehicle rentals (cars, scooters),
- lagoon boat rentals,
- bungalow rentals.
Any reservation made with Raiatea Location implies full acceptance of this policy.
2. Booking Conditions
All bookings are made upon request for a quote (via the website, email, phone, or messaging services).
A reservation is considered confirmed only after written confirmation from Raiatea Location and, where applicable, payment of a deposit.
3. Cancellation by the Customer
a) Free cancellation
Any cancellation made more than 48 hours before the start date of the service is free of charge.
Any deposit paid will be fully refunded.
b) Late cancellation
For any cancellation made less than 48 hours before the scheduled start date:
- the deposit paid will be retained as cancellation fees,
- no refund may be claimed.
c) No-show
In the event of a no-show at the scheduled date and time, the service will be considered cancelled and no refund will be granted.
4. Cancellation or Modification by Raiatea Location
Raiatea Location reserves the right to cancel or modify a booking in case of force majeure (unfavorable weather conditions, technical issues, safety reasons, or exceptional circumstances).
In such cases, the customer may choose between:
- rescheduling the service, or
- a full refund of the amounts paid, without entitlement to any additional compensation.
5. Specific Conditions – Boat Rental
Boat rentals are subject to weather and maritime safety conditions.
- If the rental is cancelled by Raiatea Location for safety or weather reasons, a full refund will be issued or the activity rescheduled, according to the customer’s preference.
- If cancelled by the customer, the general cancellation conditions apply.
6. Early Termination of Rental or Stay
Any service that has started and is interrupted at the customer’s initiative (early return, early vehicle or bungalow check-out) does not entitle the customer to any refund, unless expressly agreed otherwise by Raiatea Location.
7. Refund Procedure
When applicable, refunds will be processed using the same payment method as the deposit, within a maximum period of 14 days from confirmation of the cancellation.
